Christian
All areas of life are under the dominion of our King Jesus. There are no areas of neutrality. Mathematics, Literature, History, Latin, and Logic all belong to our Lord and are taught as such. Christianity should drip from our fingertips so to speak. It should encompass and inform all that we do and think. The students will study the Bible, historic creeds and confessions, sing Psalms and Hymns, and learn Church and Biblical History. We adhere to the historic creeds and tenants of the Christian faith. We affirm the confessions and continue the tradition of the Protestant Reformation.
Classical
We use the classical approach to education, known as the Trivium. The Trivium refers to the three stages of learning and their related subject matter.
The stages are Grammar, Dialectic, and Rhetoric.
Unique
Although we are coeducational in our classes, we affirm an overall approach that recognizes the distinct attributes of boys and girls. Boys and girls often mature and even learn differently. We also recognize that men and women are called by God to different tasks, and we educate with these distinctions in mind.
Our Vision is to produce articulate, thoughtful men and women who diligently and joyfully pursue the roles and vocations given them by God, develop a lifelong love of learning and evaluate all areas of their lives and experiences in light of Scripture. This vision is embodied in three main distinctives of our school: Christian, Classical, and Unique.
