Rhetoric I

Rhetoric is the art of persuasion. For the ancients, rhetoric was the ultimate course of study in which students learned to communicate all the knowledge they had gained in other pursuits. It is important that students learn to express their opinions and views in a literate and comprehensible manner. As Christians, our children ought to learn how to communicate their faith winsomely. This course utilizes the speaking exercises in the Omnibus textbook to teach speechwriting and speaking by imitating the great orators from history.
